  • We are looking for an Area Sales Manager for the workers in the DACH region for full-time employment to strengthen our international team.
  • BlazePod is an ambitious, dynamic international sport-tech startup. Our HQ is located in the center of Tel Aviv and offices in San Diego, CA, and employees in Europe (Germany and Spain). We develop a revolutionary training tool for sports enthusiasts and elite athletes, operated by our intuitive app.

About the product:

  • BlazePod is the world’s leading smart reaction training platform!
  • Portable light-up Pods controlled by a user-friendly mobile app, trains athletes, clients and patients to identify, process and react much faster, both physically and cognitively.
  • It offers lots of activities for different fields within sports performance, fitness, and therapy in the most engaging and exciting way.
  • The product has gone viral on social media and has a strong community of followers and creators.

Your responsibilities as an Area Sales Manager:

  • Drive sales and awareness of BlazePod in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
  • Achieve sales goals by building and maintaining relationships with BlazePod partners (B2B): Distributors, sport, fitness and physiotherapy associations.
  • Cultivate business development channels to support sales.
  • Assistance with marketing activities and local adjustments.
  • Participation in events and trade fairs, presenting the product.
  • Training courses for users, organizations, associations and dealers.
  • Daily contact with team members, preparing activity reports and participating in sales meetings or sales calls.
  • Maintenance and constant documentation in our CRM system.
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Convince potential new customers and in certain cases close sales to end users (B2C).

What are we looking for?

  • 3+ years of experience in sales and customer service, preferably in the sports or healthcare industry.
  • Understanding of the German market and the Sportech industry.
  • Team player and well organized.
  • Fluent in German, with excellent communication skills in both written and spoken forms.
  • Fluent in English, with excellent communication skills in both written and spoken forms.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Reporting to the VP of Sales.
  • Residence within the DACH region preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills: communicative, motivated, independent.
